CapeCodProperty 304 Description

The Shaw house is built to enjoy.  The house is more contemporary than conventional, but with an eye out for comfort and space at the same time.  By using levels rather than walls, this vacation home provides the airy feeling of an open floor plan with the privacy of sheltered retreat areas.  One such area is the upstairs loft, a small space with games, books, and toys.  You can look up and look down, but best of all you can look out from oversized windows and sliding glass doors to balcony decks and beyond.  The large, quiet, fenced-in yard, rare in our area, is ideal for all family members.   The family dog is  also welcome with no size or breed restrictions.  This house is truly a home away from home with all the appliances and amenities you are accustomed to: dishwasher, laundry, 2 cable TVs, ACs in the dining room and all bedrooms, and seasonal WiFi.   It is a special retreat for those who appreciate being among the many who throng to the Outer Cape's beaches, but want to escape back to the peace and quiet of its idyllic setting, surrounded on three sides by conservation land.  It is not far to anywhere.  It is a very short drive or bike ride into Orleans, the shopping and entertainment hub of the Outer Cape.  If you ride your bike (or find an appropriate one among the bikes left for your enjoyment) the Cape Cod Rail Trail is under 3/4 mile from the house via interconnecting roads.  This paved bicycle and hiking path runs along the old railroad bed through all or parts of 7 towns.  It is a short bike ride to local ocean, bay, and pond beaches, and can be used to explore and shop in other towns.  For those coming to Eastham for continuing ed seminars, it will take you to a side road within a mile of the school, without ever going on the highway, and allow you to leave the family car at home while you are in class. Approximately 1638 Living Square footage

Please note the Pet fee is $100 per pet
