When on vacation, you do not want to spend unnecessary time preparing your own food for every meal. Cape Cod has many locally owned restaurants that offer delicious meals with an inviting ambience and friendly staff. The Talkative Pig is one such location and continues to be a local favorite. Entrees are prepared by Chef Jeff Mitchell, who proudly creates unique Mediterranean dishes using fresh ingredients and authentic family recipes.
Dinner Selection
Start your meal off at The Talkative Pig with a variety of appetizers and salads. Some options include the fresh burrata, arancini, dry rub chicken wings, and eggplant rollatini. The entrée selection has plenty of options. A variety of sandwiches are made with freshly baked ciabatta bread. Popular favorites include the caprese, Italian select meats, grilled portobello, or the grilled fresh salmon. The dinner selections are available from 4:30 PM and later. Choose from classic Mediterranean selections such as the Shrimp Scampi Provencale, Ravioli di Bissanti, Chicken Piccata, or Short Ribs. It would not be a full Mediterranean selection without our favorite Italian dish: pizza! The Talkative Pig features specialty hand pulled pizzas; the dough and sauce are made in-house. Classic favorites on the menu include the Margherita and Sausage and Pepperoni. Get something different such as the BLT or Shrimp Scampi; essentially other classic Mediterranean dishes turned into pizza! You can always make your own pizza too.
Take-Out Services
The Talkative Pig provides dine-in and take-out services, making it easy for patrons to get their food. The market selection allows you to pick up prepackaged sides such as Greek pasta salad and roasted vegetables to take back to your vacation rental. The entire menu can also be ordered to-go. The Talkative Pig makes sure each patron is able to get their incredible food in whatever fashion they are comfortable with.
Finding the Talkative Pig
You can enjoy the delicious Mediterranean fare at The Talkative Pig, located at 2642 Main St. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Dine-in services are currently only offered on Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to close; take-out services are available during all hours.
